Britney Spears has dinner with Mel Gibson
(CHAPTER II)
They join group for meal at the Romanov restaurant
Last night Britney Spears met up with veteran Hollywood star Mel Gibson for a meal at a Russian restaurant.
The pair – who were once neighbours in Malibu – joined others for a 2-hour group dinner at the Romanov restaurant in Studio City.
'It was exciting to have both of them here together,' a restaurant source tells People.com. 'We heard they hit it off.'
Britney, 26, accompanied by her friend Victoria, didn't bother to dress up. She wore jeans, a green top and boots for the meeting.
Mel, 52, and a few pals joined them in the restaurant's private dining room where they were served filet mignon and Russian specialties.
Britney left for her nearby home around 8:15pm.
'She looked happy,' says an observer, 'so it seems the meeting was a success.'
Rumour has it that Mel Gibson and his family have very privately befriended Britney Spears to help her through her troubles.
THE END (CLEAR AS MUD!!!)

19 MARCH 2008.- THE TRUTH BEHIND THE MEETING.
Brit and her bag left Romanov Restaurant
|
The Spanish Magazine "Aquí Hay Gato Encerrado" has "unveiled" the truth behind Gibson&Spears recent meeting. The clues: Gibson´s rucksack and Brit´s big bag!
Source: "Aquí Hay Gato Encerrado" (Spain).
Mel Gibson and Britney Spears attended a Tupperware meeting in Romanov Restaurant last weekend. According to a witness, there´s a meeting every Saturday, but last week it was special because they were presenting the new catalogue. Around 12 people assembled to listen to the Tupperware lady (all smiles) who made a point of showing off each new product, stating its price and how it may improve any woman’s (and man´s, of course) kitchen.
Britney Spears bought the "Fresh ’N Cool™ Containers" and Mel Gibson couldn´t overcome the temptation to buy the ‘Rock’N Serve Large Shallow’ Tupperware of a value of $29.00. "For my wife," he said.
Then the Tupperware lady conducted a raffle, which Mel Gibson won. He won a thermos. Brit Spears received 2 plastic glasses that she´s quite crazy about. And the event was over. Gibson and Spears left the meeting with the rucksack and the bag respectively full of plastic stuff (see picture above).
And now free of worries...ENJOY YOUR VACATION (If you´ve got any)!!!. NO VACATION? well, don´t worry, these two old pics will help you to fight against the boredom, click here SEE YOU SOON!!!

21 MARCH 2008.- PASSION SUIT
A hearing is scheduled for June 20.
|
Source: E! Online
Mel Gibson is looking to cut this lawsuit down to size.
In court documents filed Tuesday, the actor's legal camp requested a judge dismiss six of nine accusations leveled at Gibson by a peeved writer who says he was defrauded into taking a pay cut for his work on The Passion of the Christ screenplay.
Benedict Fitzgerald, who cowrote the script with Gibson, alleged in his Feb. 11 complaint that he was told the film's budget was between $4 million and $7 million and that Gibson wouldn't be taking a cut of the proceeds until his crew and actors had been paid. The scribe therefore agreed to a "relatively small salary," two $75,000 bonuses and 5 percent of the theatrical revenues.
An audit showed the revenue participation statements he received were off by more than $30 million, Fitzgerald claims.
Gibson notably wants the fraud allegation tossed, stating that the writer had to have known the actual budget of the film, since estimated at $30 million, thanks to the large amount of publicity the project attracted.
"Given the tremendous marketing campaign behind The Passion, the unprecedented publicity generated before, during and after its release, and plaintiff's unbridled enthusiasm for the project, there is little doubt [he] was on notice as to the actual budget and production," the new filing states.
Also thanks to all that publicity—both positive and negative, if memory serves—The Passion of the Christ went on to gross $370 million domestically.
"Moreover, it is objectively unreasonable for the plaintiff to contend that he had no reason to suspect either the size of the budget—or the fact that Mel Gibson profited from the film—seven months after he alleges that he received his first participation statement on June 28, 2004," the Oscar winner's lawyer contends.
Fitzgerald also waited too long to sue, the motion states, and he hasn't given any good reason for the delay.
A hearing is scheduled for June 20. Gibson's Icon Productions, which was also behind his 2006 opus Apocalypto, is also named as a defendant.

24 MARCH 2008.- SINGING UNDER THE SHOWER
And Mel Gibson, does he sing while taking a shower?

Source: The Celebrity Truth
Following reports that Britney Spears and Mel Gibson had lunch together in Los Angeles this week, British tabloids have alleged that the popstar is set to perform for Gibson's church - a rumor that doesn't have "an ounce of truth to it", according to his rep.
According to the UK's Mirror.co.uk, Gibson "wants to help the troubled singer see the light and rediscover God", and "has miraculously roped her into performing a gospel gig at his catholic church in California."
A 'source' is quoted as saying, "They are working on arrangements and will agree on something in time for Britney singing at a Sunday service in late April."
"There is the possibility that she may even have a new song written for her for the occasion."
However, Gibson's representative has squashed the reports: "There isn't an ounce of truth to it."
Dear ladies and gentlemen, don´t worry!. We haven´t reached the end of this story yet. We know that Gibson&Spears have agreed to attend the Tupperware meeting in the Simpson home next month and, meanwhile, our lovely Brit will go on singing under the shower. Next chapter, COMING SOON!

"Mr. Benioff proved with Troy that he could adapt a long work to fit the brevity of film, while preserving what is most powerful and effective in the original. Any film of "The Building of The Panama Canal: The Story of how a jungle was conquered, a canal was built and the world made smaller and happier." will be heavily dependent on special effects, but it's the characters that the audience must care about for the film to succeed," says Mark Gooder, CEO of the Icon Group.
" I have every expectation that Mel and Mr. Benioff will be able to create a screenplay that will distill the strong characters and moral dilemmas of the novel into an exciting film that will justify the huge expense involved in filming it," adds Mr Gooder.
The musical features 22 songs by Spanish pop group "El Sueño de Morfeo", including "Nos Vemos en El Camino'" and "Para toda la Vida". Click Here to Watch Video
Lopez de Ayala will play Marcela, which falls in love with an English engineer who´s about to be married with the daughter of a local political boss.
Filming is scheduled in Panama and Costa Rica later this year.
