With the sale this summer of his Malibu home, Mel Gibson is proving to be a shrewd player in the real-life version of Monopoly.
The actor-director-producer sold his home on 155 feet of beachfront for nearly $30 million. He bought the 7,000-square-foot, Mediterranean-style estate in the fall of 2005 for $24 million.
The house, built in 1981, was remodeled shortly before Gibson purchased it. The home has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a gym, a library, an office, an elevator, a lagoon pool, a cabana, a bar and a wine cellar.
The Malibu deal preceded Gibson's sale this month of his 28-room, Tudor-style mansion on 76 acres in Greenwich, Conn. The selling price of the 13-bedroom, 16,000-square-foot estate was reported by Bloomberg News as $39.5 million.
And in March, Gibson bought a 163-plus-acre property in Costa Rica for $25.8 million, according to El Financiero, a Costa Rican publication.
The Oscar-winning director also has owned grazing and farmland in Australia.
He has had three houses in Malibu, including one he bought for $3.5 million in 2000. It has four bedrooms in 2,300 square feet and sits on 50 feet of sandy beach.

Please, Ladies and Gentlemen, KEEP CALM!!!
We know that Mel Gibson has sold a couple of mansions, but the game is not over yet !!! He still has some valuable buildings on the board and there are lots of free squares at his disposal.

31 JULY 2007.- CRUEL MONOPOLY
To play Monopoly is not as glamorous as people affirm. This very popular board game has a *dark side*. According to the game rules, when a player sells one of his buildings, he has to MOVE!!!
After watching these terrible images, I bet you will agree with us: SCRABBLE IS THE BEST!!!

3 AUGUST 2007.- HAUNTED PLACES II
Dunnottar Castle is going to be the next stage of our summer tour around haunted places and exclusive resorts.
DUNNOTTAR CASTLE, Deeside
|
WILLIAM WALLACE WAS ITS GUEST (and Mel Gibson as well)
Perched on a spectacular cliff-top promontory 160 feet above the sea, Dunnontar Castle is an extensive ruinous stronghold of the Keith Earls Marischal. External shots of the castle were used, along with Dover and Blackness, in the making of the film "Hamlet" with Mel Gibson.
Famous visitors include Mary, Queen of Scots, Charles II, and William Wallace - although the latter was uninvited and is said to have burnt 4000 Englishment here.
We donīt know whether Mel Gibson had some unusual experiences while shooting "Hamlet" in 1990, but sightings of several ghosts have been reported here. The apparition of a girl, thought to be 13 years old and dressed in a dull plaid-type dress, is said to have been witnessed in the brewery. She allegedly leaves by the doorway next to the brewery, and then vanishes.
Other ghosts witnessed here are said to include a young deer hound, which faded away near the tunnel; a tall Scandinavian-looking man going into the guardroom at the main entrance, who then vanished; a man who carries his head under his arm, although only the upper half of his body is seen (locals think this spectre is William Wallace, but thereīs no official confirmation and the ghost has refused to give an interview); and noises of a meeting coming from Benholmīs Lodging when nobody was apparently present.

EXERCISE IS THE KEY TO FITNESS
|
Walking is one of the most natural and effective ways of exercising heart and lungs. You can take a short walk when and where you want, even in the rain if you have an umbrella.
Choose quiet route in cities and head for the open countryside whenever you can.
Be sure to start off gently and build up your effort gradually. Buy a dog - itīs more enjoyable to walk in company.
Health is very important!!!
