B_____ great that Mel is making a Jesus movie, I saw some footage, great stuff.
If only he would consider doing a remake of the Classic Scots movie "Greyfriers Bobby", what a movie, what a tale, its a legend in Scotland where there is a statue of the wee dog Bobby, the dog is buried in a dogs graveyard in Edinburgh.
I once wrote to a Hollywood movie company suggesting my thoughts, they answered stating how they are s___ scared of being sued and all that s____, what the f___ kind of world is America? all scared of being sued, no b_____ way for a man to suggest or create?
I am so sick of tripe and slop movies being churned out by Hollywood, what c____, its great that Gibson created Icon. I could come up with dozens of movie ideas and creations, there is a world outside the U.S. why do the f______ aliens always land in Washington? my a___! a Martian would land in Scotland for f____ sake, at least they would get real beer not gassy p___!
As for them c____ the Simpson's ...what s____ it is, are _______ _____ really full of ground beef?...Regular ground beef I think?

I am so looking forward to the release of your film "THE PASSION".
From what I gather, you are taking the story, literally, from the Bible...which is the Word of God. I cannot understand why some people are pooh-poohing your project-- especially if this is a literal translation. And I understand the Pope approved of the film, as well---"It is as it was." I am so glad that you are strong in your faith (which must really piss off the liberals of Hollywood). But stick to your guns and your beliefs. Best regards to you.

Had this been the finished film, I would have placed it at number 3 in my list of the best films of 2003, yet the film is not finished. The effects shots that Mel Gibson told our audience were yet to be included well, the create an uncertainty in me that I can’t really voice simply because, I haven’t seen how they play yet. What is so great about this film? Simply, this is the first film featuring Christ, where I didn’t think of him as the son of God, but the son of Mary. I know that is a distinction that is hard to understand, but once you see the film, you’ll get it. This isn’t Jesus being played by someone with space cadet eyes who is constantly in seeming communication with a higher power. Instead, he is a man that is enduring torments you could never possibly imagine undergoing, and with such grace. There is no fury or retribution in his face. There is compassionate suffering instead. Understanding rather than contempt. I’ll discuss further in my review, that is coming, but for now this work print that Mel showed is truly a remarkable and brilliant film as is What is coming in February is not that film, but something I haven’t seen. This was a great film.

Does Mel Gibson ever receive or read these posts? My question is for him.
Most movies these days are Closed Captioned for the deaf (although I won't be surprised if this one isn't, given the languages involved...); however, very few movies are "Described" for the blind, where a description of the visual activity in the movie is described on a separate audio track that can only be accessed with specialized headphones in certain theaters. There are two such theaters in Seattle.
My husband is blind. Because this movie is so momentous, I BEG Mr. Gibson to consider making this movie "Described" for the blind. Imagine sitting in the theater with your eyes closed and trying to follow a movie where everything is in a foreign language. Without "Description," it will leave blind patrons even more "in the dark," so to speak. Please, EVERYONE needs access to this film!!!
