Dear Mr, Mel Gibson,
We are writing to you to ask for your help. My husband Anthony Martini was politically persecuted and tortured for over 25 years. When I met my husband Anthony the government from where we came from started attacking me to finish my husband off.
Anthony had many attempts on his life and the last murder attempt made him disabled for the rest of his life walking with a cane.
We entered the United States LEGALLY looking for Freedom on July 24th., 2002 with permission from President George W. Bush and Former Attorney General John Ashcroft who gave us the Green Light to enter the United States.
However Mr. Mel Gibson, when we entered the United States for Freedom NO ONE HELPED not even the Government, not even President George W. Bush, not even the White House, not even Former Attorney General John Ashcroft although my husband Anthony was going to exchange a System he was developing to PROTECT every man, woman and child in the United States of America by Land, Sea and Air against terrorist attacks for his Freedom and my Freedom and our Citizenship and Emergency Help.
The American Government left us on the street to live, sleep, starve and die on the streets of America living in our car. Immigration continued threatening my husband Anthony that he was not allowed to work for an Employer or he would be put in prison and eventually deported.
My husband Anthony and I have been writing our story for some time now. A true story about my husband being politically persecuted and tortured for over 25 years. It is not in a biography format and not an autobiography.
Our story will take 3 to 4 Novels about 917 typed written pages each.
Mr. Gibson, the reason why we are writing you is for several reasons. The first reason, is to ask you for financial assistance to help us to get on our feet because we have not had a home or apartment for 3 years now since we entered the United States of America on July 24th., 2002
The second reason why we are writing to you is to ask you if you would be interested in exclusive movie rights to our story. Anthony and I Annette have always admired you as an actor and respect you as a Producer.
Our Freedom was taken away when we entered the United States and you would not believe what happened to us!! Bush and the First Lady Laura Bush who knew we were starving and although we begged for emergency help they did nothing to help us. One of the letters from the White House says the President sends his best wishes.
Mr. Gibson, Anthony would be honored if you made a movie of our story and acted as Anthony because you Mr. Gibson and Anthony have similar facial features and also the seriousness and comedy all in one. You do not look like Anthony but have similar ways and features if you can understand that. You just would make a good actor acting as Anthony. It will be virtually impossible to try and cram the entire story into one movie. It would have to be at least two movies. We are not interested in a documentary.
Our 3 to 4 novels will make readers laugh and cry. There is suspense, lots of action, machine guns, politics. It involves corrupt governments around the world. It also involves the drug cartel that are all dead and many attempts on Anthony's life. There are very scary parts which would make the readers hide under the sheets. However, it is ALL true. An old friend of Anthony's who was a General in the Taiwanese army once said that Anthony has more lives then a cat does before this General was murdered. After what I have lived with Anthony I believe fully to this day.
After the last attempted murder on his life the doctors told Anthony he would never walk again. He was in a wheel chair for six months but he fought and proved them wrong. He learnt how to walk like a baby falling on his face and taught himself to walk again and today he walks with a cane. Anthony used to speak 5 languages but after the attempted murder, he had to learn how to speak english like a baby again. To this day he cannot speak the five languages he once knew. As a result of the last attempted murder from the previous government where we came from, Anthony now has two brain tumors but they are benign and not cancerous.
To give you a little background my husband Anthony is a retired Colonel with over 25 years experience as a Private Investigator who has traveled around the world being at the wrong place at the wrong time or should I say the opposite because if he had not been there, there would of never been a true story. Anthony was also a Professional Free Lance Photographer and Free Lance Reporter, a writer and a Software Developer mainly dealing in Security applications. Anthony has always HATED corruption and that is what got him into trouble.
With respect to myself Annette I am also a photographer but never sold any photos like rny husband did in the past. Frankly, sometimes I can take better pictures then he can,, smile. I am a piano teacher who has taught classical music on piano to children, teenagers and adults for many years. I have taken 12 years of professional classical voice training and love to sing although I lost the spirit of singing because of my pain and suffering for the past 3 years. I am also a writer and a poet and I write lyrics without the music although music is always in my head when I am writing. Without a home or apartment and without me living a normal life my husband and I cannot continue writing our story with all this suffering and pain.
Since we entered the United States we were trying to go to California however we ended up getting stranded here in Sarasota, Florida that we could never stand.
Immigration is refusing to renew our Employment Authorization Card because we cannot afford to pay for the Renewal and Immigration does not care if we are poor, living in our car or on the street. They just want their money.
Mr. Gibson, we really need your help. We want to get to California and finally have a home or an apartment so we can finally have a small place called Home Sweet Home and finally live like human beings instead of being treated and living like an animal.

I wanted to thank you for so many wonderful movies. I have never done anything like this before, write a fan letter. But I think you are very creative and express values that I think are seriously ignored.
I wish I could have had a family like yours with values, unfortunately for me I am going through a divorce and trying to make my way in life the best I can. I am now in college studying criminal justice. It is great to put in a DVD, and you come on, that makes my day.

I noticed a news in the paper today which said you were looking for people to join the cast and expedition team of your future film, Apocalypto. It sounded as it might be fun so I´m writting to say I´d like to come along.
About myself: I left school at 16 because I couldn´t stand the teachers and I wanted to earn a bit of money. After that I got a few part time jobs as a waiter ect. But I didn´t stick any of them for long. Recently I´ve been doing a bit of hitch-hicking round Europe so I´ve had some experience of travelling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition you´re planning.
By the way, I´m a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.

I´m appalled by the news that Mel Gibson will direct a film instead of starring in Under And Alone.
I remember going to see the first Lethal Weapon when I was sixteen and from then on Mel Gibson has been my favorite star.
He may have a little less hair and some wrinkles around his eyes, but these blue eyes and charming smile are unequalled. He´s got a charism, a sheer magnetism that precious few actors possess.
I´m going to miss him very much.

Soy una ama de casa que está cansada de lavar, planchar, hacer las camas, cocinar, pasar la aspiradora, perseguir a mi marido para que me ayude, hacer tareas escolares, quitar los mocos y repartir collejas entre mis cuatro hijos. Esta situación constante de agotamiento me ha llevado a tomar la sabia decisión de que necesito urgentemente unas vacaciones pagadas. Recientemente he leído que Vd. estaba planeando rodar una película en México y he pensado que esa era mi gran oportunidad para conocer mundo y descansar de mi querida familia. De eso del cine no sé hacer nada, pero seguro que habrá alguna cosa que se me dé bien. Por ejemplo, puedo hacer recados, repartir bocadillos o, en caso de necesidad, poner un poco de orden si el personal se desmanda. Le garantizo que grito más fuerte que nadie y puedo hacerme oír a kilómetros de distancia sin necesidad de megáfonos. Hablar, lo que se dice hablar, no hablo ni una palabra de ingles pero soy muy buena con el lenguaje de señas y el español lo domino a la perfección.
