CHICKEN RUN (2000)

Plot.- Ginger, a feisty English hen, and her friends attempt to escape Mrs. Tweedy´s chicken farm, where they are certain to end up as the main ingredients in pot pies. Rocky (Gibson), an all-American bird, looks like the chickens´ last hope. But it turns out that Rocky is as scared as the rest of the coop- that is, until the birds band together for their freedom.

Anecdotes.- "Chicken Run" was the first feature-lenght film from the creator of the popular shorts "Wallace and Gromit".

THE MILLION DOLLAR HOTEL (2001)

Plot.- Mel plays a FBI agent named Skinner investigating the suspicious death of a billionaire´s son who took a dive from the roof of an old hotel in downtown Los Angeles that is now the domain of mental patients and the homeless cast off by the city´s welfare and health-care systems. Skinner is conviced it was a murder, and he has no shortage of suspects.

Anecdotes.- "This film is as boring as a dog´s ass", said Mel Gibson, and he was the star and producer, WOW!.

Plot.- The year is 1965 and America is at war with North Vietnam. Commanding the air cavalry is Lt. Col. Hal Moore (Mel Gibson). His target the Ian Drang Valley...

Anecdotes.- The cast of the film was enrolled in boot camp at Fort Benning, Georgia, where the Green Berets and Special Forces train their troops. There Gibson and the gang got in shape in order to serve in director Randall Wallace´s army.

THE SINGING DETECTIVE (2003)

Plot.- As a Chicago novelist (Downey) lays, bedridden and feverish with an extreme case of psoriasis, he reworks the story of his first novel, The Singing Detective, in his mind, becoming the title character himself, who's on pursuit of Nazis in the 1940's... but the battle he's actually waging, of course, is with his own demons.
